He dumped me because of fights that escalated over the past few months..I wasn't expecting it though. I begged for forgiveness, and when he promised me forever, I really did believe it...Anyway, we used to talk every single day, and right now, it's been like 10 days since we sent a text message to each other. The last time we talked he asked me to hang out, and I said i wasn't ready, and that my heart hasn't healed yet;he wants to be friends. He said I'm sorry I just miss you..I didn't reply. A week or more has passed..His Facebook shows that he's happy..Should I give up?

reader, anonymous, writes (25 April 2010): let it go. He's happy and you should be too. You deserve all the happiness you should be thankful that before your fights got worst then what they were and that he ended it. Noone likes to be in that sort of relationship.
