Hi,

I'm 14 and i recently started getting "wet dreams" - it's quite annoying and how to stop it ? Also , sometimes i wake up after one, I clean the semen with a tissue and flush it down the toilet.. can someone get pregnant if they use the toilet straight after ?

I know this sounds crazy, but please help. Also, is it ok if i put my wet undies in washing machine with other people's clothes? How to make sure the sperms are dead? Please help.

Salad_Barbarian agony auntThe only way I could think of to make them stop would be to masturbate. The male body is constantly producing semen and at some point it builds up and has to get rid of it. That's what I learned anyway.

TasteofIndia agony auntHey there, sweetness.

Wet dreams are TOTALLY normal. I can't think of a way to stop them, except maybe setting your alarm a few times during the night so that your dreams are constantly interrupted... but, then you sacrifice a good nights sleep. So, I say just enjoy them and let your hormones get out of your system.

As for your semen, it only lasts for a few seconds in the air. Unless it gets inserted directly into (or onto, I suppose) a vagina, there is no risk of pregnancy. So, toss that tissue in the toilet and those undies in the washer... no ones going to be coming around with your babies in nine months.

No worries! You are growing up naturally and healthily.

Dr Vendetta agony aunt Devilish Angel : sorry but your info so totally off.

Sperm does not die instantly.

Outside the body, they can live for several hours if kept at body temperature. around 20 minutes - 1 hour in general condictions.

and unless your sperm are related to wild Red Salmon and can not only swim up river but have amazing projectial abalities. then i think you're fine.

as for wet dreams. never had one to be honest, feel i've been cheated there.

Devilish Angel agony auntOnce the sperm leaves your penis and goes into the outside world, it dies almost instantly. No, if a female uses the toilet right after she will not get pregnant. No, there is no way to stop them. They'll go away on their own. You can wash your undies with everyone else's. The soap will clean everything.

Don't be embarrassed and just go with it. Things will calm down in your dreams once you're finished with puberty.
