Is my emotionally abusive ex bf, finally getting over me?

A female , anonymous writes:

I broke up with my emotionally abusive ex fiance about 4 months ago, and since then i've had to change my number because he wouldn't leave me alone. anyway, i used to live with him, so my tax forms were sent to his house, and yesterday he sent them to me, and put a note inside that said he hopes everything is going well for me personally and with my new job. Then, he signed it, "Love always." I sign everything love always too, so i'm sure it means nothing. But, is he wishing me well "personally" by meaning my love life? Does that mean his love life is going good? What does that mean? Is he over me? In one of his pics on myspace he is still wearing a necklace he bought after we broke up with a key and a heart on it saying i was the key to his heart. So, why is he wishing me well personally, and what does that mean? And does it sound like he's over me?

Is he still trying to get in touch with you, in other ways? Aside from the note with the tax form?

Is he harrassing you? I guess I am wondering why you are wondering why he's 'over you'? If he's backed off, then let sleeping dogs lie here. Try not to overanalyze everything..us gals tend to do that. Don't worry about his life and what he's doing...and be thankful he's out of you life for good. Just keep healing towards recovery and be strong. Abusive men don't know how to love, they suck the life energy out of a woman and make her feel unworthy, only because he's insecure himself. If he did this to you, you could be still 'trying to make sense' from what happened. to you. Stay on track and leave this alone. Move onwards and upwards, hun. There are a lot of awesome men out there, who would appreciate you and admire you without being abusive. Good luck and best wishes.

TELLULAH agony auntHi,

You sound worried that he might be. Maybe he has just come to terms that you dont want him and have moved on, so he is doing the same. This is a good thing so dont worry, and dont ever forget why you broke up in the first place.

anon_e_mouse agony auntWhat does it matter? He was emotionally abusive and that's that. He might well be over it or perhaps he's trying to open the door again?

Either way does it really matter?
