Ok to put it as simple as I can. I graduated high school May of 2007. My junior year I had this teacher all year long for both 4th and 6th period. He was my favorite teacher. He was young, straight out of college, and really good looking. I mean how many teachers do you know of that have tattoos, dark spikey hair, wear converse, and ride a kawasaki ninja to school? Anyway, in fourth period I was the only girl in the class. It was an engineering class. The teacher (we'll call him Mr. K) Mr. K thought it was amusing that I could show up most of the guys in the class. 6th period was my architecture class. Mr. K sometimes just let me chill in the classroom while everyone did the work because some of the assignments for both classes were the same. I was really good at everything we did in his classes. We started talking about things, like normal day to day things, and then by the end of the year we got pretty close. I didn't really feel anything for him then and I know he didn't, but then my senior year came.

My second period class was right next door to his class. I would see Mr. K waiting outside his door every day on my way to class. He would smile and say hello. Sometimes we would just stand there and talk even after the tardy bell rang. In the winter when I noticed his motorcycle parked outside I would say to him, "Isn't it a little cold to be riding to school? He always smiled and said the same thing. "Nope, well maybe a little." We did this every day. We would talk before class and after class and then I started to notice things. Mr. K would come in my class sometimes just to say hi to my teacher, Mr. Tod, and to me. Anytime Mr. Tod needed something from Mr. K he would send me. Later on in the year Mr. K wasn't himself. He was having problems with his wife. He wasn't as cheery and flirty as usualy but he would still smile when ever he saw me.

In April I got my hair cut really short. My class was in the shop. We were making our co2 cars. I was working on mine and when I looked up I saw Mr. K. He was talking to Mt. Tod and he was looking at me. It wasn't the normal look I got from him. It was "the look". It was the look a guy gives a girl when you know he's interested in her. (The look Derek gives Meredeth while she's dancing with Fin on Grey's Anatomy.) The entire time he was talking to Mr. Tod he kept looking at me. I felt a little akward so I went back to doing my work. A few minutes lates Mr. K walked right up to me smiled and said, "I really like your hair. It looks good on you." He talked to me for a few more minutes and just kept smiling. He went back to talk to Mr. Tod before he went back to his class. I looked up again and I noticed him look at me again before he left. The rest of that day I kept thinking to myself, did he really look at me like that? He's me teacher. He's really hot. He's got a wife and kids. He actually gave me the look. That whole day and the next few days were a little weird. He even came into my class the next day and he gave me that look again.

The next few weeks, the last few weeks of my high school career, were a mess. I really liked this other guy. He was winking and flirting with me, a friend was trying to set me up with her friend, and Mr. K was still looking at me. I was stressed out and I just went after the guy I liked. I graduated and to this day I still think of Mr. K. I saw him last year. He looked really good. He was looking at me, in public, and he asked me how I was doing. We talked for a bit. It was kind of akward. It was like having a conversation with an ex-boyfriend.

And finally all of that brings me to this: Me and some friends were thinking about visiting some old teachers. The first teacher I thought of was Mr. K. He was my favorite teacher and he was hot and that's when I remembered the look and then I remembered that I kind of liked him, and by the way he always looked at me I got the idea that he liked me too. What if he still looks at me like that? What if he really does like me? Is it weird that I still think of my high school teacher?

I have been in the exact same situation. Honestly when i read your post it made me feel better about my crazy situation. I actually even graduated the same time as you did.

Go for it! Honestly, at least see, there is nothing worse than always wondering if you made the wrong decision by not, and always wondering where you would be had you went to visit him. I always want to go visit my Mr.C =) but I can never get the guts to go, Go for it!!

Wow!

I had a teacher like that, my freshman year of high schol. He was a student teacher. He was cute...MARRIED, with a baby on the way. All four years of high school all the girls flirted with him. I did my fair share, and he flirted back. But nothing ever came of it, he was married!

Don't be a homewrecher! Ever you ever thought you might have misinterpreted his being nice to you? If you hit on him, and he doesn't feel the same, the situation might get sticky and from then on, going back to your high school is going to be weird! Has he ever told you he liked you or lead you on to think there might be something else? A look doesn't count! You need to think about this long and hard!

Tevote agony auntHello!

First of all let me say, wow what a situation you have!

Well not really.

Simply it in all honesty is fine that you might have feelings for him, and him for you considering you have left school now.

I think from what you've written that he might have feelings for you, even if he doesn't-It wouldn't hurt to go and say hello to him. I think you should go and say hello and catch up, maybe get his email if you'd like to talk with him some more.

You never know he might ask you for yours.

So no it's not weird at all, it's perfectly natural.

If anything does happen...Just think about his wife and kids also it could end up pretty mushy.

If you need to chat or ask more questions, I don't mind helping at all :).

Goodluck!
