Our exam results would be coming out soon and if they are good me and my friends and classmates are going to thank all our teachers for their hard work and some are giving their male teachers a kiss on the cheek and a hug but in a romantic way because our male teachers are years older than us. So I was wondering if thats okay to do with a teacher because afterall it's not in a romantic or flirty or suggestive way but like a sort of thank you. Please say if thats all right or not. Thanks I would appreciate the answers.

I don't know about where you are but in the university I was last in teachers weren't allowed to hug their students, so I am thinking you might inadvertently get your teacher in some hot water if someone saw it and misunderstood and it might make your teachers a bit uncomfortable, though since you know the teachers you are probably a better judge of that, some teachers are more open and affection with students but not in like a creepy way and if they are that sort a little hug might not seem so off to them and might be just fine. But just thanking them in person or with a note, is more than enough XD If they are a huggy sort of teacher, they might just hug you in response :-P
Usually teachers do this around the shoulders light squeeze with one arm instead of a face to face hug, if you want to go with a hug and can reach lol

I agree with Trisha and Wiccan. Unfortunately, it's not Little House on the Prairie anymore where actions are construed as simple and pure- your need to hug him in appreciation is natural and sweet but in today's world, this could become more of a headache to your teacher and could be seen as inappropriate. Show him your gratitude in a way that will not cause him any harm and that would be to write a short thank you note.

I think the best way to thank a teacher is to write a nice note telling him or her that you really appreciate all their support over the years and that you will think of them as a role model as you continue on in life.
Hugs and kisses could cause problems for teachers if anyone gets the wrong idea. And if you really cared about a teacher you wouldnt want to cause him or her problems, right?
