Is it normal to have an orgasm just from being tickled?

Am I strange?

My new boyfriend has a fetish for feet. A few weeks ago I indulged him for the first time and allowed him to tie me to my bed. He proceeded to tickle the bottoms of my feet for a long time.

I’m a very ticklish person and I laughed and screamed. I couldn’t even curl my toes as he’d somehow tied those too.

All of a sudden and without warning I had an orgasm, but I wasn’t aware I was aroused. His scratching my soles went from hideous torture to making it one of the most intense orgasms I have had.

Is it normal to experience orgasm just from having your feet tickled? Or to experience spontaneous orgasm without first feeling aroused? My BF hadn’t seen it happen before (though he thought it was the coolest thing ever!) and I’m quite nervous about putting myself through it again.

person12345 agony auntWow. Lucky girl. Some contortionists can stand on their heads, so I guess stranger things have happened. You found something you apparently really like, so explore it more and just enjoy it!

PM agony auntWell, I've heard of people being sexually aroused from having their feet touched and I think this falls into that category.

One of the things that I learned about the brain in psychology is that the part of the brain associated with receiving information from the feet is right beside the part of the brain that receives information from the genitals and that for some people, it's not uncommon to have signals to stimulate both parts of the brain and be interpreted by the brain as sexual stimulation. Sounds like it might be what happened, but it's hard to say for sure.

Unless there are other things that have gotten you worried, I think you're in the clear here if you want to try it again.

YouWish agony auntSWEET!!! That sounds awesome! The biggest sex organ is the brain, and apparantly, the entire "tied up, helpless, tickling" thing set you off! You were aroused and didn't even know it, since it was not the usual way you've heard it done.

It may never happen again, but then again, it might happen every time. Don't be nervous at all! You were doing something loving with someone you loved and were 100% comfortable with.

The feet are also HUGE erogeous zones. Many times, the feet can have pressure points that affect various areas on the body. Without knowing it, your boyfriend has tuned in on that, which is why he's really into feet. :)

With all the women who have a hard time experiencing orgasm in the first place, you are in an enviable position! Indulge away! You're not strange at all!
