He was sober though and my best friends yelled at him for it (cause it was my first kiss and they thought he took advantage of me, which wasn't true). My best friend even slapped him in front of people! :( But instead of being mad, he apologized to them and said he understood why they were angry. And after the party, he made an effort to contact me and even hinted heavily at liking me and asking me out. But when my best friend asked him if he liked me, he said I was okay. He didn't give a different answer. Does he like me? Or is does he just feel bad and responsible? How do I know if he's sincere when he's a bit of a flirt?

 Im sorry but you shouldn't be drinking. You are young and inexperience in controlling the alcohol in your body and one day you might meet the wrong guy who will fully take advantage of a situation like this. As for this guy don't worry to much on what your friends says he said and pay attention to the signs he gave you. If you feel he liked you than don't listen to here say.
