I've the same problem! I even go to the extent that I flirt with them while my boyfriend (who isn't a military personnel) was around.
There's just something about them that's attractive... I know how you feel. I'm a proud sucker for military guys.
However, being a military spouse is hard. Like, when they're deployed, high chances they're gonna cheat on you even if it's only for sex with the other women. You will never know what exactly happens. And they won't have too much time for you either because of their long working hours.
You know veterans and students in military academy are hot too ;)

 Most women are attracted to power. The uniform represents power. It doesn't hurt that the military requires it's people to be physically fit. Evolution has selected us to be attracted to healthy people. The other really great thing the military teaches is Decorum, or good manners. That is a quality that is getting very hard to find in young men.
I'd suggest that you think about the qualities that are common among the men you have dated. If you are really afraid of the separations and risks involved with the military lifestyle then think about other places you could find those qualities. Otherwise the men in uniform need good strong partners at home. Think about how you can fill that need.

Plenty of young men are in fact in the military - so why not just date them and enjoy ?

 Well, they are pretty hot! lol But hm, if you come from a military family, you'd be more drawn to them because you understand the culture, you admire the sacrifices, and people are comfortable with what they know best. If not, this can have something to do with you liking/wanting a protector, some one responsible who respects duty, some one strong and able to handle anything-and military men have that reputation :p But, don't worry so much about this attraction, just try and give nice guys without the uniform a chance too sometimes lol
