A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

sorry for the huge wall of text!!! i would write more but i don't want to write a damn book =\ if you manage to read the whole thing you must be bored but i would really really appreciate this!

Okay, my friend and me talk alot, he moved to a different state i have family living there too i stayed here with my family,so anyways this is what he does....

* We started text messaging, according to him he would ignore all the text messages but when i text him he texts back.

* I had a date yesterday with a guy friend, he told me that...if i was bored or something that i should text him.

*He has alot of friends more girls than anything, but he never goes out lately he spends all day on the computer talking to me, but one day one of his old friends told him that she liked him and he didn't know what to say...he told him that he was scared of break the friendship if or something so they remained as "friends with benefits"

*i always would go and bother him like talking about her and stuff and hes like "jealous" and he never liked the topic of me talking about her for some reason.

*after he like decided to have friend with benefit i decided to find one myself so i talked to him about my friend and he always bring him like into everything.

*once....he told me that when you like someone you can't tell them due to some circumstances in the way I was wondering...so i had like this hint he meant me but i wasn't sure...but anyways my girl feeling was telling me something..so i kinda brought the topic again but based on me like i said...that...sometimes you want to tell a person you like him but there like obstacles in the way....and you decide to bury it he asked me...what kind of obstacles...i go well..like some reasons that wont let you be with that person so he mentioned this "distance" something like that....so i guess he wont tell me because we live too far which i do agree the point is..that ugh i can't tell him that i like him because im the kind of girl who waits for the guy to do the first move besides nim not into long distance relationships..but i want to know if he likes me...it's killing meee!!!! any...idea...or questions...to help me solve this?

A female reader, anonymous, writes (18 August 2009):

I do understand that...but it would be very awkward, right now I can't I'm starting college soon and he still in high school. I can't just go there for nothing...I'm not the type of girl who would go and say "I LIKE YOU" out of nowhere without being sure. I believe boys always do the first move that's how it works, and it's a man pride thing which lol it true. But he currently have a friend with benefit like i said....same as me but he's dating her because he doesn't want to lose the friendship they have but still is confusing me.

Can you go visit your family in the same state for a little and hang out with him, being face to face might help the situation.
