Frostygirl agony auntSorry its a lot :) x x

Hey i think last week it was i changed my style, (im 15) i used to be a skater kinda girl but im more glam now, i'll share some of my ideas and what i did, and i just hope it helps.

Make up :: Make it look natural. Dont over do your lips AND your eyes, you can concerntrate on your eyes and maybe put a bit of lipgloss on, or concerntrate on your lips and out a small amount of eye make up on. i would suggest Mascara. ((shake across your eyelashes, ten stroke up, this makes them longer)) apply to your lower lashes too. small amount of eyeliner, flicking it at the end of your eye. An eye shadow that is close to your eye colour and fade it UPWARDS. Smooth foundation and blusher.

Clothes :: Anything that flatters your physique, show a bit of your chest but not too much. Dolly shoes or sandels are good.

FOR SCHOOL :: A 3/4 length shirt top 2 buttons undone, wear a darkish blue shirt under. and ontop of that a black 3/4 length jacket that comes to your waist

ALSO ITS HOW YOU WALK, dont make it pigeon walk but imagine your on a line. and imagine your hips and bum is showing. its all about being confident

really hope it helps x x

towapa agony auntMy sister is like you! She looks younger than she actually does.

You shouldn't worry about looking older, not like you need to get into any clubs, is it? Or do you just want everyone to stop thinking that you look like a twelve year old? Hmm. Well if that's the case, I think you should look in magazines (i.e Heat) to see what kind of clothes, style they got, because they have loads of decent advice in there! Quite mature, too. I have big eyes too, and people say I look quite young, but you know what? You wouldn't want to look old when you're in your mid thirties, do ya? If anybody ever says that you look younger than you actually are, just reply back, "Well you'll thank me in a few years time, anyway!' Murhahaha, shuts them up everytime.

A female reader, lisa21 United Kingdom +, writes (30 September 2007):

oh god i still have this problem, i'm 5ft3 i've tried all hair styles short and long, i'm 21 and still get told i look 17/18! it really used to bug me, think of it as a blessing, when your older you'll be looking younger than you are, however i know that doesn't help you right now.

most girls make the mistake of trying too hard to look their age/older by plastering on the make up and over doing it on the outfit front.

make up can help but i believe less is more in this case, if you have long hair, maybe consider getting it styled and avoid ponytails and plaits.

A female reader, anonymous, writes (30 September 2007):

Being 5'2 is nothing to worry about when you are 14 considering you are still growing. Seeing as you want your hair to be longer you could either wait (hair grows naturally anyway as i'm sure you already know) or you could use extensions if you want your hair to be longer quicker. As for make-up don't go mad over it plus don't use any bright colours otherwise you'll look like a little kid messing around with their mum's make-up box plus look like a clown (the very last thing you need). Use some make-up and make yourself look both sophisticated and trendy. You haven't given much info about your face description but judging by what you descripe your face to be (baby-faced) i would suggest using colours that suit your face, e.g. pinks, reds. Perhaps start off with lighter pinks and reds and in time go darker. Also start off using little make-up and continue to build up how much you use (remember not to go over the top though). As for uniform you have to stick with the rules no matter what and don't go drastic over it (what i mean by that is no badges, writings, jumpers etc). Hope i've helped.

brooke5426 agony auntcheek bones! its all in the cheek bones. and the way to fake them if you havent got them is to suck your cheeks in as if your making a fish face lol then brush bronzer lightly from the middle of your cheek upwards underneath your cheek bone to just about level with the top of your ear. dont go crazy with it its meant to shade your cheek bone and look like a shadow its not meant to look like your heading off to star in an american football game.

brooke

flower girl agony auntI think personally that long hair can make you look quite young, would you not consider having a shorter style that is maybe shaped to your face abit, that would probably make you look older.

I do agree with Ms. sweet dreams about the make up there is no rush for that, as once you start with that you have to keep on using it.

Take care.xx.

A female reader, lovehate United Kingdom +, writes (29 September 2007):

lovehate agony auntI am not going to say "wait...you will mature with time, have fun looking innocent" I know you girls hate being told that because everyone is in a hurry to grow up now, including me.

Hair: It depends what shape your face is..You can have any hairstyle. Choose the one you feel most confident in. You could even get a haircut (trim). Layers are much more sophisticated. Confidence is the key.

Make up: It depends where you are going? Shopping or lunch with friends or out partying...wear mascara (Rimmel is very good), eyeliner, and a faint lipgloss (not glittery). If you would like to wear something like bronzer or foundation, go for it. Remember NEVER overdo makeup. It is so obvious. Try different techniques and see which products go well with your features and complection.

School: At school no one looks there best. There isnt much of a way to look older at school if you wear a uniform. Wear some mascara and the right hairstyle, you should be great.

Dont worry. Everyone has problems with this. It's harder to look older when you are thin and small... I am 15 this month and am just under 5'4 when all of my friends are 5'6-5'8. It's harder to keep up when they have the advantage of height.

Contact me for more help. I would love to know how it goes :) xxx

Ms.Sweet dreams agony auntwell dont hurry urself to get older, just wait for ur right time that u will be matured enough and u can whatever u want in ur life. when u use make up and ur face is still baby face, ur face will get damaged and ur pimples get start to grow up so just be afraid of that. every one likes to be a baby face so keep it that way. be natural. hope u like my advice... cheers
