When I was in Year 9 a teacher I know very well told the whole class that he wished I was his daughter..At the time I was embarassed and scared to say at the least but now when I look at it I think it off as a compliment. Should I ask him if he meant it or not and how?

I asked him one day and he admitted he meant it. I was soo scared but I'm glad I asked him and now have closure on the matter so thank you.

Jmo agony auntDon't ask him about it, it'll probably turn in to an awkward conversation and you'll feel embarrassed all over again. He meant it as a compliment, take it and leave it at that.

x-kitycatlok-x agony auntI think you should ask him if he meant it. What harm can it do. What you should do is walk up to him, and say "Do you remember the time when you said you wished I was your daughter. Did you really mean it?" Or something like that. What harm can it do?

Wishing you the best
