A female reader, Hopeful +, writes (5 June 2006):

Hopeful agony auntConsult fashion mags and websites - they often feature lots of articles, styles and pictures to show you how to dress to your body type, as well as tips on how to accentuate parts of your body and flatter others.

Generally, V neck tends to suit curvy girls more so than boat or round neck (more flattering), tailored trousers, A line skirts, long tailored jackets etc.

Part of it will depend on your personal style and tastes. But check out some of these fashion sources because they will give you more detailed advice and in line with current trends.

Wild Thaing agony auntThere is no problem with wanting to look good because most of us want to feel like we're attractive. Just know that if you don't already get attention from the boys, you certainly will get it once you start putting yourself out there.

If you want a guy's point of view, I don't really much care for revealing clothes on a woman. It leaves too little to the imagination. I prefer a more classy, understated look. If you are as curvy as you claim, then you don't need to further accentuate that fact in your fashion choices.

Wear the things that make you feel good about yourself, not what you think someone else is going to like. If you feel good about yourself and project it, then you need not worry about attracting people to you. It will just happen.

A female reader, willywombat United Kingdom +, writes (3 June 2006):

willywombat agony auntTo then male anon below.....since when does what a women wear influence whether she is raped or not? You MAY think this is unacceptable as men may be tempted to attack her - but she has the right to wear what she wants. Anyway, she is asking for guidance on what to wear to make herself look good as she has obviously got *new* curves and needs guidance. Leave this one to the women with the same bodyshape and take these outdated and outmoded views elsewhere.

As for the female anon who is asking the question - go for flowing and not skin tight. Look for classic cuts that go with the natural female shape and don't try to squeeze into anything aimed at the *skinny-minnies* amongst us. Emphasise your waist with belts and make sure you invest in a decent bra!

What the hell is wrong with you? Do you really want to get raped? You're 15 trying to dress like a 23 year - get a grip, get your airhead into the books so you don't end up relying on men and your body all your life.

Phoebe Halliwell agony auntDear Reader,

I'm happy that you're comfortable with the way you look, most teens aren't. If you really don't want to stick with your own style, try wearing slightly fitted clother, like fitted jackets or maybe a belt to attract attention to a certain area? But don't go over the top, the last thing you want is to end up looking like a bouncy ball.

Blessed Be,

Phoebe
