 Whatever it was you said you have apologised for, just give him a bit of time and he might get over it and talk to you again.
Im sure if he is worth it he will forget about whatever you said, can it be that bad?
just wait and see what happens you cant keep apologising.

If you've said sorry that much, then the ball is in his court and it's up to him to make the next move. You can only do so much to maintain a friendship on your own. It has to take two people to want to be friends with one another.
I wouldn't bring it up again unless he does - you don't want to keep bringing up whatever happened since he seems so sensitive about it. He knows you're sorry and that's the most important thing.

Write him a short letter explaining how much you value his friendship and express how much you have enjoyed his company over the weeks. Leave it at that and just see what happens...
It does really depend on what you said, but can it be that bad?
