 Not too full on you say - I'm assuming that's names like babe, sweetie, gorgeous, and so on.
Find a name that's non-offensive and non-sexual - perhaps base it on something she likes. For example, if she likes cats, call her 'Kitty', or if she likes drawing, you could go with 'Picasso'. There's a lot of possibilities once you know what she's into - just make sure it's something she likes being called, 'cause there's nothing worse than a crappy nickname.

I got my nickname from my lip gloss. It smelled like sugar cookies so my bf started calling me that. I dont really know what you could call her and not sound like you have a connection unless you call her what everyone else calls her. You might want to hold off on nicknames until you two start dating.
