(providing of course you are both single) ask your mate what her opinion of her uncle is, as she knows him, she should be able to tell you whether he is a decent guy or not. then as you have swapped numbers, text and see if you both want to meet up. if you still like each other when you are sober, you'll know it wasn't the booze. he might feel that you are too young for him really coz i think that at your age, age still matters (it matters less the older we get) so be aware that he might not want anything serious with you, even if he says he does
