rk06 is verified as being by the original poster of the question I guess I should have cleared things up... Sex isnt a priority for me at all. I was just wondering if she wanted it, could I give it to her. I live in Iowa, I have heard both yes and no for the legality of the issue. I'll just keep it in my pants.

reader, anonymous, writes (21 June 2007): There are very few states where the age of consent is 18. Some have 16, some 17, some 18. It depends on which state you live in, kid. In New York it wouldn't be illegal, in California it would. Look it up.

reader, anonymous, writes (21 June 2007): Yes it is most definately illegal every where in the United States where you live until she is 18, and if you were prosecuted by her parents you would be a sex offender with your name published on a state and national website as such, don't do it, it is not worth ruining your life over....and furthermore, it is unhealthy for a number of reasons for this young girl to have sex with you....she would be at a higher risk for getting cervical cancer just because she is not biologically old enough to have sex, so why don't you put your mind elsewhere and be a freind to her instead?

 hey dude im in the same vote im 18 going to be 19 and my girl has just turn 17 but we have already had sex we hide it but we did if your going to have sex just hide it and when she is 18 then you know its ok i know in the state of kentucky the age of 16 your able to consent to sex but i dont know of any state so just check it out on the web

reader, anonymous, writes (21 June 2007): You can be charged with having sexual intercourse with a minor. She isn't an adult until she turns 18. So, yes, it is illegal.
If her parents finds out, they can charge you with lewd acts of a minor and you would have to register for sex offenders list on line and it may be more.

 It depends where u from dude...here in California it is illegal for a person under 18 to have sex, but once she turns 18 she is a legal adult so as you and you can have sexual activity legally

RK,take your time i believe any female under the age of 18 is considerd jail bait wait the six months if you can. I know you would'nt want to be charged for having sex with a minner besides having something like that on your record will ruin your life think of the consenquences. In this situation i would say think with the right head.
