writes:me and my girlfriend were dating for 3 years. i found out that she liked and was talking to this kid she was going to college with. i freaked out and we broke up. 3 weeks later she started dating him. now were talking again after 8 months and naturally i still love her. she says she still loves me but she's confused. she then tells me that the day before we broke up she cheated on me with the kid that she's dating. i don't know what to do. im in love with her but i am torn about the situation. if i do get back together with her should i trust her.

 I think it would be very hard for you to trust this girl again if you got back with her. You need to have a proper talk with her and ask her how she feels. It sounds to me like she likes this other guy and has no intentions of leaving him for you. You need to talk to her and ask her what she wants. She is confused therefore it is not a good basis to get back together with her as she may only end up hurting you again. She needs to be certain about what she wants.

i always say once a cheat always a cheat if you got back together again whats to say she wouldnt cheat again i would tell her you just wants to be friends
