 I was forced into an abortion, and it really did ruin my life. Don't believe what they say (or don't say) - you are absolutely right to feel this isn't the right thing to do, because it isn't. You will always regret it.
I had a chat with an 84-year-old woman in the swimming pool the other day. She looked amazing - I thought she was only 68. She said that she had two children, and that both had been 'mistakes', but that she regretted nothing. She said that back in the 1950s, she got pregnant, unmarried, in her 20s. She thought she should consider an abortion, because her situation was so unacceptable socially - she knew it would be social suicide to be an umarried mother. She went to the doctor and asked about it. She didn't want an abortion, but thought she should ask. And he said 'I will tell you straight. I see many, many women suffering from emotional and even physical problems after abortions - more than you could imagine. And I never see any women regretting they had their child.'
She was lucky - she got a good doctor. He was right. In your situation, there is actually a right and wrong, and you have a choice. Email me if you want and we can talk.
