I had a drunken kiss with another guy, and now my boyfriend has demanded I never see or speak to him again! And this would mean losing all my friends, what should I do?

A female United Kingdom age 30-35, *ENETANYA writes:

if someone fell in love with you, and did everything to try and make you his, when he knew you were happy with another bloke "M" that he knew was a perfectly nice bloke; then you made some mistakes (getting drunk and letting "I" kiss you and then a few months later repeating the very same mistake) because your boyfriend never wanted to see you because he's not use to going out much and won't usually let you go and see him even though you do everything to try and get him to see you, but sometimes he doesn't for a whole month (he lives less than half a mile away..he admits that he wasn't behaving like a boyfriend should and hurting me.

Then, when your boyfriend "M" (who of course i told about the drunken infidelity) says that you must never ever see or say a single word to "I" again, would you do it? considering "I" is a very good friend but who simply is convinced that he'll never love anyone as much as me, which is surely not true...also considering that if "I" goes, the rest of your friends go with him...friends you've known for years...

Who do you want? The boyfriend you cheated on, or your friends. Choose, because you can't have both.

Oh gosh why couldn't u just speak factually about ur situation

Not hypothetically.Basically if M doesn't see you much and he is your boyfriend, then you should dump him,be single and maybe get with I after 3 weeks or so.
