Olivia(Y). agony auntI know how you feel. I started my periods very early in life at 9 years old. and i would sometimes go for about 3 months without a period.

When you first start they do take a while to settle into a regular cycle.

I would speak to your mum or school nurse if your really worried.

anon642 agony auntYes it's perfectly normal :)

It can take up to 2 years for your period to get into a regular pattern anyway so your fine.

Talk to your mum she might have had the same thing when she first started.

All the best :)

remember you have only just started your period. it's all part of your body getting used to these new things. basically it's puberty. you may be abit irregular for a while, but once your body sorts it'self out it will become regular and annoying.lol.

didda123 agony auntYes i think it is perfectly normal and considering you have only just started your period.

Your hormones will be up and down at the moment and it will take a while for things to settle down im sure within a week or two you will have had one.

You have nothing to worry about a little weight would not make a difference and if you have not had sex then just chill out and let things take their natural course.
