 Yes, you are normal to enjoy sex without having an orgasm. Some women do not have an orgasm during sex and some women fake having an orgasm to make the man believe he is really doing something. I feel faking an orgasm is really sparing the man’s feelings which is not a good or bad thing.
But some women just love that intense and feeling good sensation that they know by having an orgasm will end it. And yes we all have held it when it starts to get real good.
