The internet can be a dangerous place for gullible youngsters - make sure you're not one of them and invite him to meet your parents.

Just be honest with him.
If you really like him then it is something you must do. If he doesn't take the news well. Then think of it as his loss and i can almot gurantee that you'll find someone much better, if he doesn't want to except your age. But you must understand boys do take 'jail bait' very seriously so try and understand if he gets pissed off.
And try to be honest next time

GENERALLY guys on 16, in all honesty, do not want to talk to a 13 year old girl, certainly not in a non-friendship way. They usually prefer talking to girls their own age. HOWEVER, if you begin talking to this guy and he genuinly does like you, then he should see past this age, if he does not, then you must try extremely hard to try and move on, at least up until your 16.
At the end of the day, if you're meant to be with him at some point, then you will. 3 years difference is absoloutely NOTHING, but it might sound a little strange when you're only 13 and he is of legal age of 16
