sugar_sugar agony auntDo NOT use a whitening toothpaste on your skin! It will bleach it as well as possibly burning it. You run the risk of burning your skin when using toothpaste as an acne treatment.

sugar_sugar agony auntHormonal breakouts are pretty impossible to control. Make sure you take off your make up before bed if you wear any, cleanse and moisturise daily. Use products that are suited to your skin type (dry/combination/oily).

I recommend buying your skincare products at a chemist rather than supermarket or high-end products. Things like Cetaphil or QV in particular are generally quite good and non inflammatory.

Otherwise Mario Badescu - Drying Lotion is great on those once off spots you might get on a monthly basis. For a slightly cheaper solution dab the affected area with tea tree oil, dilute with water if you have sensitive skin and don't overdo it or you'll dry your skin out!

Arg i know what ya mean... i always notice that my face gets kinda oily after my period... i have those proactive oil blotter sheets that get all the oil off your face and use those eeveryday but when i do extra stuff like masks it just makes me break out more b/c my skin isnt used to them

Okay It happens to everyone, wash your face with Stridex, best acne wash ever. Then when you go to bed put some tooth paste everywhere you have a pimple, it should be gone in the morning, and if it continues go to the skin doctor, thats what I did:)
