writes:well last night my gf and i were texting and i asked her if she thinks that me and her are close and if we have a good relationship and she said "yeah i think were close, but we could be closer" and yeah i think we have a good relationship too". what can we do to get closer? she wants to be closer too she said. we know the basics of each other like sports numbers colours but yesterday she said that besides that stuff we dont know anything and then she started telling me other stuff like why she wears a poppy on remembrance week and why she listens to queen. i told her stuff too like why im close to my grandma but what else can me and my gf do?

Wow, im 14 and have had a gf for a week now, and we're pretty close. Try talking to her and hugging, then maybe kissing a bit, and ask if there's ever anything she needs help with, you're there for her. That's what i did :P

 Try a really good old fashioned idea.... talk to each other - not text or IM each other, actually talk to each other!!
Then while you are talking to each other find out more about what each other likes and dislikes...

Just keep getting to know each other and go out more. Is there something you can both do together. And since she was the one to suggest you could be closer, ask her if she has any suggestions. You just have to keep talking and spending time together.
