Danielepew agony auntYou start little by little. You need real friends, not just anyone who will smile at you.

You can try going places where they sell something related to your hobbies, or volunteering for things you like. I am sure you will find someone like yourself. Just go slow, and make sure they are real friends.

For starters a social networking site might help you regain the feel for society, myspace or facebook, etc. Then maybe join a class or a gym, even aerobics! Do you work? Get more involved with your co-workers! Do you have siblings? Maybe you and your brother/sister and some of their friends could go out on the town, you would get to know them, and them you. There are a few ideas anyway.
