My mom already had a talk with me which didn't go so well but now its time to have a talk with my dad. I dont know what to tell him and they have already threaten to take my car, my phone, and my privileges of going out. Its the summer before my senior year, so i was wondering if anyone had tips on how to gain my parents trust again and how to assure them I'm not doing anything else with boys?

ps. i didn't let them go through my phone. My dad happened to find it when i missed placed it and saw it as an opportunity to go through it. But i cant really say much since he is the one who is paying for the phone.

 Tell them is isnt their business what guys do with your boobs... dont you think its wrong for your mother to go thru your text messages ? Its 2009 what do you think your mother got up when she was your age ! if they take your car away take the bus or bike. Your a young adult dont be pushed around by old folks. Be polite but firm and dont talk to much by trying to make excuses for what they think is bad behaviour

reader, anonymous, writes (30 June 2009): Seeing as you are 16 they have no right to do what they are saying if they do IMMEDIATELY call the police as then taking your car and phone is theft! the legal sex age is 16 in Canada anyway so well. I would move out they are control freaks. they also have no right to search your phone why did you let them? what you can do to prevent that is go to security settings on your phone and set up a password. that way you and only you can see things like messages, phone book,recent contacts etc. x
