writes:I recently met this guy online and we really hit it off. We text each other practically every day. I'm going to meet him in two weeks, but I'm really nervous. I'm taking a friend with me, but I'm not sure how to react. I'm a really shy person and don't know how I should greet him, or what to talk about. Also, I think I'm texting him too much, I tried to cut it down to one text a day, but I really like him and I just can't work out if he likes me too..:

make sure mom and dad know and that they know
where you are going
who you are meeting (his full name, date of birth, address phone number etc)
when you are meeting him and when you plan to be home

go to his home
get in a car with him

I was REALLY nervous. And I had no idea what to talk about.But you just have to be confident. Its like meeting anyone else!
You smile. You ask how his trip was. He answers you, and maybe puts in a funny line about the food being bad or the weather being crap. You then ask about that. It just flows from there.
If you feel like its super awkward, and he'll never like you, remember he is probably nervous too.
I thought mine went really bad at first, because of the silences, but turns out the guy liked me a lot. We're just both quiet people. So remember, be safe and have fun!
