writes:i this guy, but he's way out my league. i'm not sure if he likes me back even though he smiles at me and we talk during class. no one knows i like him and i don't no what to do because i'm really shy and have low self esteem. my confidence is really low towhat should i doi don't want to tell him. just in case he laughs at me, or tells his friends is there any way i can find out if he likes me back and so it wont be as embarassing? i've liked him now for about 4 or 5 months

thank you for your advice i actually havent said anything to him yet. i was hoping to recieve any signals off him before i sayeither that or get very drunk durint the summer holidays and confess hopine everyone will forget any bad things that happened over the six weeks

Okay, look. Often people learn this after they have lost their chance: tell him you like him. Why would he laugh? There is nothing funny about it, it is not a joke, so that is out of the question.And if he tells his friends, what about it? There is nothing they could bother you about.The only thing that sucks at your age, is that friends sometimes bother you and make you feel uncomfortable when you are around the person you like. Ignore them, it happens because they are inmature, and probably jealous. Ask him out and good luck! If he talks to you it is because he does know you exist and takes you into account.
