 They become very distant, make false smiles as if they are interested, tell you they are very busy at work and quite clearly look at you with disgust and revulsion. They will be violent in bed and not consider your feelings in any way. They also make up excuses so as they don't have to spend time with you. Generally they become not very nice. You can get a gut feeling and by looking into their eyes you realise they don't like you any more. There are many other inklings and signs as well.

 Changes in behaviour, lack of intimacy. Lack of eye contact, needing to be anywhere but where you are. Not telling you he loves you anymore. Pushing you away. Looking at you as though he finds you repulsive. Nasty comments about your appearance. I could go on and on!
I suppose it depends on the circumstances though, there could be other issues affecting someone which makes them close off so its hard to comment without the full story x

But the person could just have a lot on there mind, and don't know how to express themselfes to you. Try talking to you male fellow.

 When a person, male or female, is no longer interested, there usually is a big change in the way the person treats you. Maybe it's not rude or bad, but, excuse me for the repetition, uninterested. You can tell the person is no longer there for you.

Usualy guys will either ignore you, flirt with other girls, usualy you can tell by their faces if their telling the truth or not when they say I love you.
But most guys if they have lost interest would have dumped you.
