writes:my boyfriend loves me going on top,infact he more than loves it, but i get shy sometimes and at times i feel like i'm not doing anything good enough, has anyone got tips on how i can overcome being shy and how i can do anything special whilst on top?oh and we have been together half a year

reader, anonymous, writes (29 May 2011): This is verified as being by the original poster of the questionme and my boyfriend are very open about things and we discuss everything, but i have in the past told him im shy but he said if i dont want to do it then i dont have to and also he says im doing it perfectly i just need to believe in myself, believe me he doesnt always gets what he wants, were quite a team:')

You just need to talk to him, tell him that you don't feel confident about it and ask how he would like it to be, then when you make love get him to tell how you're doing. If he loves you he will be absolutely fine with this. Also, don't let him have just what he wants, tell him how you like it too. I hope this helps.

 if he 'more than loves it' you must be doing it right so just carry on, the more experienced you get the more confident you will feel about your abilities and then less worried you will feel about your performance. talk to your boyfriend about what he likes/prefers/wants. if you are intimate enough to be having sex then you should be intimate enough to be able to talk about it together
