How can I keep my stomach flat? I'm desperate!

hi every1!im 15.im tall n slim but i have a problem with my staumach,sometimes its so flat and sometimes its not!!!!!!!and because of my bad luck when i have a party or when i plan 2 go 2 the beach with my friends guess what?i wake up in the morning with a staumach so not flat!its so imberessin and i always try some tricks 2 hide it and im sick of this!!!!!!!!!

how can i loose wait n keep my staumach flat without workin out??(since i dont hav time 2!)

any tip will help cause im deparate!!

You just need to make sure you spend a big of time on the loo so it's empty of air and other things.

That and stand up straight, keep your shoulders back and suck it in.

Posture is 90% of looking good.

k_c100 agony auntOk well if you say some days your tummy is flat, and others it isnt, then you do not need to lose weight. That difference you see in your stomach is down to food - starchy foods like pasta, bread and potatoes (carbs really) make your tummy bloated because they hold onto water. So on the days your tummy isnt flat, you may have eaten lots of carbs the day before hence you are holding onto water and looking a little bloated.

If you are tall and thin then there is no point in trying to lose weight, you would just end up losing weight from other parts of your body and your stomach would stay the same!

All you need to do is say the day before a party (or 2 days before if you want it to look really flat) is cut out carbs or have very small amounts of them. That way, when you wake up the next day you wont have retained any water so your stomach should look pretty flat.

But bear in mind that all women have slightly rounded stomachs unless they do about 1000 crunches a day. This is because we as women are designed to have babies, and in order to have a baby we need a bit of fat and spare skin around the tummy so that once we are pregnant, the tummy can expand as the baby grows. Therefore what you have is perfectly natural and it wont go away anytime soon!

So try cutting down on carbs when you want to make your stomach flatter, this means not eating any bread, pasta, potatoes or rice. If you have to have something then try the brown variety of what ever you fancy - like brown bread, brown rice or brown pasta. They are not processed so they dont hold onto as much water once they are in your body.

I don't think you can keep it flat! I mean, a stomach is designed to hold food. That's all it is really, just a storage thing. I guess we each have different shaped ones. I know some people seem to have a completely flat stomach, and some don't.

I don't have any tips to keep your stomach flat, maybe someone else on here does! But I just wanted to say that I have an issue with my stomach myself. People tell me I am slim, but all I see is the fact that my stomach tends to stick out! I think it is something that we notice more in ourselves than other people do. I have tried exercises before, and while they toned my stomach a bit, the overall result was that my stomach stayed pretty much the same.

So you are not alone with disliking your stomach! I think it is something we have to try and learn to love and accept. We all have things about ourselves we wish we could improve. But if we are designed a certain shape...there is little that can be done. But believe me, I think it is something that nobody else will even notice.

Be grateful for all the things your stomach does for you! Hope this helps. x
