reader, anonymous, writes (9 October 2007): Holiday romances are so fantastic at the time. Out there in another country we can meet all sorts and the grass always seems greener on the other side. Be aware that you are not the first, we have all done it. Gone home and wanted to meet up with them again, but it is not always what it seems to us at the time. If you got his address then maybe keep in touch, but i would personally enjoy the dream and forget all about him. Enjoy the memories and meet someone who is local and available.

 Thats the thing with holiday romances, some work out, but sadly most don't. I know you feel sad at the moment, but you will get over it, time is the healer of all things. Treat this as a chapter in your life and move on. Soon you will meet someone else, probably when you least expect it.

 Hi babe, did you get a number or address to write to? It will take a bit of time, however you will get over him, over time. Try and think about someone else or maybe think about things to try and take your mind off him. I know it will be hard.. but you can do it!! =]
