They both sleep around and when we went to a party once, one of them was having sex with a random girl and his friend joined him after a while and they "double teamed" her. The guys joke about it and say that the experience brought them closer together. How can guys be so sleazy like that? I mean they were doing the same girl at the same time! It's almost like they were having sex with each other!

 I agree with Yos very much. He's so true about everything he has been said. You should stay away from them, although i'm almost sure that they wouldn't do with you the same, because you're friend of them.
I have one good news for you: all guys are not the same. I know a lot of guys, who would never do that or at least they wouldn't gossip around and be proud of these kind of actions.
They probably don't realise that these gossips are not very helpful for them; a lot of girls (like you for example)would never ever want to be with them because of that. They wouldn't want to be in same position like the girl they had sex is.
I'm sorry that you have a friends like that. I'm sure there are people around who are smarter and better, just open your eyes and you'll see them. You shouldn't look just on first expresion, you should try to talk with more people and you'll see that a lot of people would agree with you.
You know, some people are pretending to be someone they're not in reality just to satisfied others and than you see them in different situations (like yours) and they act like totally morons. This is when they show themself in their true light.
Friends are something really important, it's sad that a lot of people don't have the right people around. You should hang around with people who makes you better person and who are not so selfish and vulgar like these 2 friends.

 That is really sleazy. I feel sorry for the girl: she's quite likely to have some serious regrets. Those guys clearly had no regard for her at all, your description is the epitome of 'being used'.
You ask how guys can do that? Well fortunately it's a minority. But it's because for guys sex and emotion can be completely disconnected. For all they care she could have been a piece of meat, or a sex doll, or a prostitute. She's not 'real' to them and they could care less about her feelings. In fact, they might take some perverse pleasure out of damaging her self-esteem :(

 One of my measures of a person's character is finding out what he or she is proud of. What is it that they think they're really good at, or what do they like to do? Your description of what they think is a proud moment speaks volumes about them.
Who you hang out with speaks volumes about you. Just food for thought!

It is really shocking that they did this. Ive never heard of any of my friends doing that.
It really is harmful to your psyche to use a girl lik that. Bad Karma will result and be manifested in their lives. Stay away.

reader, anonymous, writes (2 March 2009): That's pretty shocking. My theory is that close guy friends feel they can't ever really bond without the fear of feeling too "gay", so they get closer to each other by f*cking the same girl. It has nothing to do with the girl.
All I can say is that some (some!) guys outgrow this, and start to see women as autonomous, human entities who deserve respect. They begin to get the idea that women aren't play things and that sex isn't just using a girl in place of your hand to masturbate.
I know it's hard to be around guys like this - I would suggest distancing yourself from people like them. There are men out there who aren't sleazy a-holes. If it makes you uncomfortable, speak up next time. Tell them that you think they're immature.
