writes:I'm a lesbian..but I fell in love with this guy but I found out hes gay and hates alot of girls.I heard he harreses them; makes fun of their boobs nd stuff in a mean way not in away like a guy likes that girl.Me and him have so much in commen but we're so oppisite. He knows i like him; he tells his friends how much he hates me but when i talk to him he seems shy and answers my questions.He has a huge smilie on his face too. I'm so confused,there was this one day i was walking and 2 guys and girls found out i'm a lesbian; they started calling me a lez and stuff then he came and said leave her alone but that was before he knew i liked him and before he knew i was a lesbian but he knows now.Idk what to do. How do u get a gay guy to fall in love with a lesbian??

reader, anonymous, writes (11 February 2008): Hm...this does seem to be a predicament! I don't think love really knows limits when it comes to EMOTIONAL love like you have for him. Still, I would ask him the truth. As him if he doesn't like you like you may have heard. Ask him if he'd ever be interested in dating a girl and why he's so mean to him. Communication is key. However, don't get your hopes up; usually gay people (much like straight people) can't be switched. If I was given the choice to go on a date with a girl or a guy, I'd chose the guy over the girl ten times out of ten. Something pretty epic would have to happen for me to switch...
