Hi,

So I had gone over my guy's house and was on my period, but we still had intercourse. When I'm on my period usually we don't use a condom, except this time i got kind of dry during intercourse. When i had gotten home i had noticed I was itchy "down there". The next 2 or 3 days it was like this. Now it's just kind of raw. I was thinking I maybe caught a slight yeast infection seeing how I was on my period. No condom. The works ya'know. I just wanted an Opinion basically, and if their was some sort of home remedy to get rid of it instead of buying a cream or something stupid like that??

Much Appreciated,

-B. xoxo

person12345 agony auntI doubt you have a yeast infection, you're probably just chafed. Chafed can be EXTREMELY painful or uncomfortable, but nothing like a yeast infection. If it's a yeast infection you will smell "bready" down there and have strange discharge and trust me on this, it will be hideously uncomfortable. Chafing on the other hand, happens when you have sex and aren't well lubed enough or have too vigorous sex and can make it painful even to pee and can itch like mad. I advise you simply abstain for a few days and it should go away. If you do have a yeast infection, treatment is available over the counter and isn't very expensive.

Just go by some over the counter medicine, that will clear it up.

this has worked for me. Yogurt with live cultures. Eat it and it fights all manners of bacteria/infection. Cold sores, canker sores...doctor told me that years ago when one of my children had canker sores. Also apply it directly on 'that' area. Sounds gross but it works. Mal

Since the Yeast infection isn't that Bad, will it just go away without me even having to do a home remedy?? I'm extremely clean and hygenic when it comes to my Body. It grosses me out that I even got this. I'm never doing such a thing on my period Again lol.....
