Help! How can I stop becoming so wet?

Question - (6 September 2010) 7 Answers - (Newest, 7 May 2011)
A female United Kingdom age 26-29, *alanay1 writes:

I've been with my boyfriend for well over a year, before anyone starts going all judgemental on me- I've had my hands down his pants, he's had his hands down mine. No biggie...

Just lately, he's been commenting on how wet I am down there, and how he's not sure how he feels about it.

Is it good or bad to get wet there? And why does it happen? And how can I stop getting so wet? It happens when we're just talking, and it's quite uncomfortable because I can feel my panties sticking to me, so I'd quite like to know how to stop it.

Thanks, :)

It's normal...it just means that your excited, and that your body is responding whether unconsiously or consiously. I would talk to him about it, and if he still has problems excepting that it's normal, find a book or look it up on the internet.

Sorry, but you can't really stop that from happening sweet heart.

It happens because you are attracted to him and your hormones are pulsing.

It's a natural thing... Most women get wet when they're with someone they really like. It's a good thing because it means your body is healthy and starting to grow up.

You could buy some panty liners... Thin ones, that's absorb and excess moisture, without being noticable.

When I was your age I was very wet in general but it's less wet now that I'm in my twenties.

Hope this helps. x

There's nothing you can do about it. It's a perfectly normal reaction. You're a normal girl. Don't worry. If he doesn't like it, then he doesn't understand women!

It happens because if you one day start to have sex and you are dry you can hurt yourself and it can be very painful. The wetness helps it go in smooth. You can't stop it.I suggest you read a little more online about sex itself and you'll understand more. Not knowing this simple thing shows that you're not really ready for anything sexual, but that's just my opinion, we'll see what the other aunts say about it.

A female reader, FluffyPie United States +, writes (6 September 2010):

FluffyPie agony auntYou CAN'T stop it. It's psychological.

And absolutely normal, means you're aroused and, well, in most cases, it's a good thing. It's equal for the situation when a guy gets a hard-on from touching/kissing/hugging you. Means your body is excited and ready for sex. Now it depends on you if you carry on or not.

But from what I can tell, if you're here, asking about this sort of things, you need to wait a bit longer before having sex, you're still young and it's very good that you want information regarding this topic.

Anyway, it depends on the guy as well. If he's uncomfortable with the "slippery sensation", means he's the one who's not ready for sex. To have sex, you need to be extremely lubricated, so the penis can slide in easily. And the again, he must know that this is absolutely normal for a healthy body.

A female reader, dmartin89 United Kingdom +, writes (6 September 2010):

dmartin89 agony auntThis is normal vaginal lubrication.

It happens when the body is sexually aroused, it thinks there is going to be intercourse so lubrication makes its easier for the penis to penetrate.

You cant get rid of it or stop it, its a normal bodily function.

Most boys see it as a turn on. It tells them that the girl is aroused in their company.
