But, anyways the last time when i hung out with him last i went to go kiss him and he NEVER backs away then all of a sudden he did but, then he started kissing me and the day after underneath my tongue was hurting like my skin was peeling.i couldn't even swallow or anything. i gave him oral and he gave me oral. I DON'T KNOW please help!!!! i don't want to live the rest of my life with something all because of a user scumbag.

reader, anonymous, writes (15 March 2007): Yes, I have been in this situation before too! You are probably just paranoid becuase he was acting funny. Plus your mind plays tricks on you when you think you have something. All of a sudden things start itching, burning or appearing that you never noctied before. But think about it. Have you never realized that anytime you think about something or want something all of a sudden you start noticing it everywhere. Yeah the mind can be really cruel sometimes. Just chill out and don't start worrying before you have a diagnosed reason. Go to the doctor. If it's curable they will cure it. If it isn't they will help make it better. But as far as you know right now...you don't have anything. So chill out and go.PS. Stop sleeping with the X. Been there too. It's never worth it!

 Hi Jackie. Go to your doc, take a couple of tests. It's better to get tested than to worry about these things because worrying never solves anything, and at least if you caught something you can get medication for it.
And I don't know what the laws are like in the US but where I come from, if he carries an STD he is under some obligation to inform any partners he may have had in the last 3 months.

 GAHH Now it's time to pick up the broken pieces!!
I HATED being in that situation before. I researched all the known stds and vds and hiv lists of symptoms out there so that I didn't have to go to get myself checked.
At the end of the day, though, I HAD to go to the clinic for a health check. The truth is more important than living a life of denial and paranoia.
I know, it's not the clinic or the process itself that scares the bejeebers out of you, it's the guilt, the "stupid-STUPID-STUPID-I'm-so-Stupid" ringing in your head and the chance that you'll never be the same again if you WERE diagnosed with something.
TONS of people have been where you have. Half of them come out of the clinics relieved, and half of them are not so lucky. BUT they still live on. They are still alive and living.
Yes, one mistake is enough to change your life, but it's also up to you HOW you want to handle that change.
Until THEN, however, don't get carried away with your fear. You STILL haven't been diagnosed yet. Go and get your checkup TODAY or TOMORROW. HE may have been a user scumbag, but YOU are going to be a much better human being and take care of yourself. Go with a friend if you have to, just DO IT.
