 If he kissed you AND your friend, it seems that he likes more people than just you. You need to find someone that is only going to like YOU and that's it. You don't want to have to put up with a player such as this guy. It's not fair to you and it wouldn't be too much fun either!

 my guess is he was just playing with you and doesn't want to get into a proper relationship just yet. Hold back and see if he does anything to show that he genuinley likes you, but be careful you don't get hurt if you decidee to give it a go.
