writes:I was in a long distance relationship with a guy, we broke up and lost touch for about 5 years. Now we have started talking again and he has told me that he kept every photo I sent him and every email, letter that I sent him.Does the fact he kept all this stuff mean anything?

 It means he cherished the time with you and doesn't want to part with objects that hold these memories for him. So, he had no hard feelings about your break-up and maybe a part of him still wants what could have been...it's not at all bad that he kept these things :)

Depends what you mean by anything. It means something that he kept it (that you and your relationship meant something to him). As for it meaning more, it's hard to tell. Lots of people keep things from their past relationships, for memories of the past. It doesn't mean that they still love them or want to be with them.
If you're interested in getting back together, I would take this as a good sign, that maybe he has residual feelings that could grow. He did tell you that he kept the stuff, which could mean something.
If you aren't interested in getting back together, I would just take it as a compliment, that your relationship meant something to him.
