 I'm afraid there isn't much you can do. He's arrogant and rude, and frankly, it doesn't sound as though he cares enough to change for you.
I would back away and see if he makes an effort to come find you, but I would not hold my breath for that to happen. Be brave and hold your head up, you tried and he was just a jerk, sorry.
