writes:I am 21 and my boyfriend is 30. I have had two abortins in my life I use to smoke weed but I have stop now. My boyfiend still smokes weed we have been trying to have a baby for about 8 months now. It is getting realy stressful he wants to go and buy the ovalution test. I would like for it to just happen, how do I know if I am able to still have a baby after 2 abortions and with the use of weed? Now we have been having unprotect sex since like forever sometimes his cum stays in me and sometimes it doesn't I just want to know if I am able to still have a baby.

 There is every chance that you can have a baby but you both need to make lifestyle changes - smoking anything at the time of conception and during pregnancy can have major health and behavioural consequences for mother and baby. Furthermore, there are the effects of passive smoking. Due to your abortion history it is important you get a check up with a gynaecologist. A simple blood test would identify if there are any hormonal reasons for infertility, and an ultrasound could identify any problems with your womb or ovaries. However, infertility is not usually suspected by doctors until a couple have been trying to conceive for at least 12 months. There are ovulation kits that you can buy to identify the best times for intercourse. However, you have to make lifestyle changes too - both of you - as a first step towards a healthy pregnancy.

 Weed reduces the number of healthy sperm a male produces DRAMATICALLY. Just google weed + male fertility. It's a well known fact.
He needs to stop weed for good. No question about it and if he won't then DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT HAVING A BABY WITH HIM.
And if you've had 2 abortions already, what makes you think you are ready for a baby now? Are you sorted financially, emotionally, physically (well that's a no), aswell as able to guarantee that he's not going to run off and leave you? Because, let's face it, if he's still smoking weed at 30, he's a bit of a waster.
Shame on you for trying to bring a baby into this.

 why do you think your ready for a baby now and you werent then. to be honest you shouldnt have a child in a life were someone is dependant on drugs. you both need to be alert and give a child what it deserves, are you prepared finacially ? what about emotionaly? you should still be able to concieve although abortion isnt something that should happen easily as it can lower your chance.if you are worried then you should go see your gp. good luck aphex xx

There are fertility tests both of you can take.
