writes:please help,i am deeply confused. i have been with my partner for 14 years and have 3 children, we are not married. i am not in love with him any more, we argue a lot and i feel i am just sticking it out for the sake of the kids, there is a 13 year age gap between i was 18 and he was 31 when we met. he can be very hurtful with the things he says to me like calling me fat and lazy, i have recently started a college course studying nursing, i done this to better myself and give my children the life they deserve, he brings me down about this too saying i will never amount to anything, and trys to control everything i do. he also chats to other women openly online and has given his number out and this particular woman contacts him on a daily basis, i have asked him to stop this but he never listens to me. i can never go anywhere without him phoning and checking where i am, and asking when i will be home, he expects me to do everything for him like runnning after him all the time. i dont know if i can continue with this, however he will make it very difficult for me if i was to split with him. it is getting that i cant take it anymore, recently i was very ill and in bed and he called me to pick up a prescription for his "female friend" as he was "too busy", after picking it up i arrived at her house and he was already at her house.lately i have been having feelings for another man who only lives a few streets away from me. he is married and also has 3 children. his son is friendly with my son and he used to work with my partner. he often talks to me and stares at me a lot, i get the feeling that he likes me too. he has been having problems with his marriage and has confided in me on a few occasions. recently he told my friend that he liked me and wanted to talk with me on our own, he has not made any effort to do so and i dont know what to do, can you please advise me i am so confused and i cant stop thinking about this man.
