The Realist agony auntIt could be a range of things from stress to eating habits. I recommend seeing your doctor about it and possibly suggesting the birth control pill to set you on a regular cycle. There is some concern if the discharge is not the usual colour.

person12345 agony auntNormally around your age your periods may be irregular, but this sounds like a question for a doctor. There are tons of somewhat harmless things that can cause irregular periods, like stress, lack of sleep, poor diet (OK, not harmless, but not deadly and easily fixable). However, some more serious conditions like hormone imbalances and thyroid problems can also cause this. You should give your doctor a visit.
