Well ima guy so anywho, im not very social however im very smart. and i dont think im too bad looking. maybe a 7 or 8 depending on who you areanywho so the whole school had a class change and my other guy friend actually knew her and i only knew my guy friend. and i like barely knew him i actually knew him from another friend i barely knew(haha ikr what an antisocial kid) so any ways the guy in the class we'll refer to him as R. and there was this other girl i was trying to be friends with who we will refer to as E. I actually was trying to be friends with E because i was trying to see how good i was at body language. And with my luck i found out that E is actually comepletely different from everyone else in the body langauge department haha. so M hardly even looked at me the frst few weeks. I think it was after we had to work in a group of four that My guy friend R actually invited M and E to the group. R is actually a bit of a player.I took this as an opertunity to learn how R behaves in action and how he gets a conversation going. while he was hitting on E using his techniques i tried them on M and it was actually working. I got her talking and conversating became a bit easier. Later on all four of us became almost permanent working buddies. R wud always how E and i wud end up with M and i sorta liked her. I mean she wasnt like OMG sexy as hell or anything whorrey but she was a nice girl. and the techniques were still working. anyways r moved to another school and me M and E and another kid worked together. So then we wud always pair in 2's instead of 4s so id always go with M because i have every class with E and Me and E are friends now. Sitting at the same lunch table friends. Anyways M and i are really gud friends too. so sometimes i wud take her stuff and she wud take myne and we wud annoy each other and make remarks. Sometimes she playfully hits me for something like taking her book or something. and we were really gud friends, id say we were better friends than me and E but we only got 1 class together. anyways close to the end of the year before finals this one kid was bugging us and he ask M if she liked me and she just calmly said no. but it wasnt like her usualy no u no? it was one of those in between no's. so then i got red cuz he was asking this stuff rite in front of me. and then he asked me! and i was like uhh no we're just friends. cuz i wudnt say that to someone i really dont like!(referring to the annoying kid) and anyways a few days after we had A LOT of free time in class so me and M were talking and the kid goes quit flirting to me and M. I just got irritated at that. anyways idk if E is jelly or not cuz it seems like she is everyone is like oh you like her and that kinda stuff. E says i should go out with her and idk if M likes me. And now i have feelings for her... ughhh just a little bit though haha. OHH and i forgot to mention that she once kicked me in the butt just for funn and i kciekd her back later. and we stop at each other's lockers sometimes. well usually i do. And she tried to give me a hug on the last day of school when no one else did. but i pinched her halfway through the hug and ran away. and she went OW U pinched me JERK! and gave a play full slap.

 I think you should just ask her out on a date because from the information she might like you or she might just want to be close friends. It's difficult to tell but if she says no just be cool and still be friends. (don't let it get awkward) Hope this helps :)

Trust me I'm a girl and I would just want a guy to be honest with me but if she says no try to still be friends cause that's what relationships are about. Hope this helps :)
