writes:My ex girlfriend hasn't talked to me a whole lot since we broke up a few months ago, but agreed to stay friends, she found a new guy about 2 months ago and we still texted each other but very little.Starting 2 days ago she has texted me ALOT, and about little things, like about what's happening in the show we used to watch, and about work. Does this mean that she secretly still has feelings about me even though she has a boyfriend?It's confusing because for 2 1/2 months she barely talked to me then all of a sudden out of the blue she's sending me 10 texts a day.

reader, anonymous, writes (2 May 2008): hard to tell from what you say, depends on how long u were together, why u split up etc. it could be that she either still does have feelings for you or;
maybe she has hit problems/ boredom etc with her new partner and you are offering her excitement/ friendship/ distraction/ good memories through these txts.
my advice would be to wait another few weeks and see what happens before u do anything other than reply to her in freindship.

 You need to ask her. If she is texting you this much is she missing you. I would be disappointed if my hubbie texted his ex ten times a day as I would think he was thinking more about her than me. If she just wants someone to talk to and its messing your head up than tell her - you dont say if you want her back her not. If you are happy to just stay friends then just keep the texts friendly and be there for her x
