Does it sound like he might like me romantically, or is he just interested in me as a friend?

A female Canada age 30-35, *optop197 writes:

We've been working together (in a bookstore) for a couple of months (he actually remembers how long I've been there, and he also remembers me from when our soccer teams had a couple of practices together about 3 or 4 years ago, even though we only interacted *briefly* twice), every time we work together he comes up to me to chat, he always says bye to me when I leave, we tease each other, and we joke around, and we play.

I was looking for a book, and he just followed me around (he said "so, I'm just gonna follow you around like a lost puppy"). Three times I've walked past him, and he's just looked at me, smiled, and said "Tasha, Tasha, Tasha..." (my name) in a teasing way. He uses my name A LOT. He bought me a sandwich from his favourite shop in return for the coffee I bought him (that he ASKED me to buy him). The store was empty the other day, so I said he should come and help me shelve books, but we just ended up sitting in a corner and reading silly kids books, and laughing about them.

He's slowly starting to touch me more, too. He "whooshed" my hair the other day when he walked past me (kind of flipped it with his hands) and laughed, and then when he was complaining about being tired yesterday he purposely slow-motion bumped into me with his shoulder.

He's also started making slightly sexual jokes, like someone was passing out these big candies, and after putting the whole thing in his mouth he said "I have to practice putting bigger things in my mouth" and then laughed and said "I'm so inappropriate". Silly innuendo stuff like that :-)

I did write something on his wall a couple days ago (not a question or anything, just a joke about how a book that he liked that we had in our store was sold), and he didn't comment on it or anything. And I do know that he's been on Facebook since then. Though he doesn’t always comment when people say stuff about his status posts, so maybe he’s just not much of a Facebook communicator…?

Anyway, I really like him, and we have a lot of fun together, but I'm wondering if he might like me romantically, or if he just sees me as a friend. Personally, I see him as both, haha

This is a tricky one right here. A lot of guys are really fun and friendly. He just might be on the side that he loves having you as a co-worker or maybe not. If you notice more intimate kind of things going on between you and him he might actually really like you. Maybe hang out sometime if you would really like to find out. From this, it's really hard to tell, but I'd go that he does like you romantically. Watch out for those gazes that he gives. That's a good sign he likes you.
