 However getting fingered can break your hymen. While I don't believe a broken hymen makes you not a virgin, it is something to be aware of. Especially if he inserts his fingers inside of you.

reader, anonymous, writes (4 May 2011): I wanted to know the answer to this question too about a month ago, I asked my lesbian friend and she said you don't lose your virginity by getting fingered.
However virginity is subjective in a sense. I was on a website not long ago and it said 'you chose whether or not you've lost your virginity' however my friend said no and several other friends told me no as well.
