writes:do anyother women experience feeling a little horny during your period? i don't think i could ever have sex during a period, but sometimes i feel a little up for it. must be to do with hormones of something?i guess i'm lucky, as i never have heavy, painful periods..maybe that has something to do with it? anyone got any ideas?

 one tiny word of warning, though: when i was younger i too used to kind of just carry on normally, even if i had my period (although now, like everyone else, it has to be under exceptional circs, as not really worth the mess and does make you feel a bit more kind of sensitive, etc, afterwards) - and, once when I had sex with my boyfriend, immediately afterwards I had this like EXCRUCIATING pain - i had to go to hospital and it turned out that he had ejaculated with such force (lol) that the sperm had kind of shot into one of my fallopian tubes combined with the period blood (sorry, this is a bit tmi ...) and there was too much fluid in there (as fallopian tubes are very tiny) and basically it was agony and took about 14 hours to release itself and not to hurt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was in hospital all day!!!!!!!!!!!!! and had to be investigated in various not-very-pleasant ways!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but that was their final conclusion (which they delivered SMIRKING, i have to say ; )
so, i would say don't go at it too ferociously ; )

 Suggestion: Right before it starts (if you can gauge it right)...OR...when its almost ended..take a nice hot bath or shower and then it won't be messy and you can "relieve yourself"..because you know after you wash, you're nice and clean for a little while before it starts again...Just a hopefully helpful suggestion..What we girls go through! When I was younger, I actually used to have sex during my period (my guy used 2 condoms..) but now that I'm older..geez..its just such a mess..forget it... LOL...

I have had period sex once though and it was really good, my whole vagina felt engorged and really sensetive, I would probs do it again if i was abit drunk and the guy was up for it.
