writes:Hello, I have a 3 month old son who was born in August this year.About a week after my last period, I slept with 2 different men on the same night, one being my baby's father.I took the morning after pill the day after, but i'm now pregnant again.I slept with my baby's father a few times before that night also without protection.Is there any chance the father isn't the other guy, and the morning after pill stopped that other guy getting me pregnant?I'm so scared in case it's not my boyfriends, as I don't want another baby with somebody else. If it's not his, I don't want it :( I just don't know what to do.I have an abortion booked for Tuesday, but I need some reassurance that the baby may definitely not be this other guys?

reader, anonymous, writes (18 November 2009): If you don't want a kid with some one else why sleep with them? If your going to be sexualy active I recomend the IUD at the least. I think you should slow down and think about what your going to do. this is not somthing u can not think about and jump on the boat and it without a whole lot of thought. what if you had the abortion and it is your current boyfriends, how would you tell him this? the odds sound like they are for you. I would not worrie to much about the other guy, i would not cheat again if i was you tho.

You were probably already pregnant when you took the MAP and that is why it didn't work. I'm not going to tell you to have an abortion, but did you go to the doctor and figure out how far along you are? I've taken the MAP before, but I am also on the pill. If you're not breast feeding why aren't you on the pill?

It could certainly be the other guy's. The morning after pill doesn't always work.
More importantly, why did you sleep with the other guy? There are other issues here that also need to be addressed and quickly. And if you do go through with the abortion, please make sure that you speak with someone who is qualified to help you through it (a counsellor). All the best.
