A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Last Wednesday night my boyfriend and I had sex. It was the first time for both of us and it was something we were shy about but we wanted to do. We have been together for a year and we take things slow but, the night wasn't perfect of course because I am writing on here. Anyway, while I was on top he came and then he got on top and I came after that but the condom went missing. I'm scared that it is in me, it broke and is in me, or hopefully it's in his room. I know it's early to tell but I think I might be pregnant or not. I am currently on vacation where the altitude is very high and it's common to sick from this I also just got over a cold so all I feel is nausea a little and my stomach has I guess pulses? I don't know how to describe it but I know that is just my heart beat or gas because I have inflamation of the intestines and irritably bowl syndrome. If I am pregnant then I will care for this baby and make them know that they are loved and were not a mistake but a welcomed gift. I am expecting my period next week and I have some bloating and acne but are there any symptons of pregnancy that I would get now?

meg2989 agony auntWell, why don't you go to a doctor, they will do a pelvic exam and see if its in you. I doubt that it is, because I really think you would have noticed if it was, but aain stranger things have happened. Go to your doctor and see.

When we switched positions it came off. If it is in me how can I get it out? I don't feel anything in there and I don't have any smell going on down there. I don't feel any pinching sensations in my ovaries just pressure on my stomach.

meg2989 agony auntWow! Certainly an interesting way to lose your virginity! Are you certain that your boyfrined didnt take the condom off when he came with you on top? If not I guess it could have slipped off when he was in you, or it could have slipped off when you changed positions. In any case I strongly doubt that the condom is inside you, and you would honestly know by now, you would be able to feel it and honestly even though this sounds a little gross, if the condom was stuck inside you, it would smell. You may be pregnant though, especially because you don't know when the condom came off. The only symptom I can imagine you getting now is maybe a pinching sensation in your ovaries. (but that is a serious maybe, its not particularly common) You would not have morning sickness this early, but note that it can start as early as 3 weeks. Some women don't get morning sickness at all though. Keep in mind that sometimes you can trick your mindinto thinking that your pregnant so you "develop symptoms" of pregnancy even though you are not. Basically you worry about it so much that your mind starts to ply tricks on you. Right now I would just relax and not worry too much. There's nothing you can do now anyway. Just wait for your period and if it doesn't come that day, take a pregnancy test. When you take the pregnancy test make sure its with the "first pee of the morning" becasue its most accurate. I hope that helps best wishes and good luck.
